Clay Creations

My brain decided I was using it too much to do writing and went on strike. So I gave it a rest and let it enjoy the feeling of squishing clay between my fingers, rolling it into a ball between my hands and then rolling it out on the table. I added some cookie cutters, rubber stamps for texture and push molds of faces.

Here are some of the things I made. They are still in the process of air drying. Once they are dried, I will sand rough parts with a fingernail file and then paint them. I’ll add more pictures as I get farther along.

Thank you, Phyliss. I’ve been thinking about making single leaves with faces to hang on a grapevine wreath tree with little twinkle lights for Thanksgiving. At my speed, I’ll start it this year and have it done for next year! At least it will keep me busy.
