Animal Symbolism and Messengers
I have always loved nature and animals. These interests expanded into Native American studies, particularly the Medicine Wheel. I believe that the Universe has many ways of speaking to us to provide us with insights and guidance. This can occur in dreams when our subconscious tries to bypass the rational mind. By uncovering the symbolic meanings found in our dreams, we learn to understand these messages. We can also find messages through the animals – animals that cross our paths during waking hours or who come to us in dreams or meditation.
This was a major interest of mine before the accident. I find that continuing with this interest has been useful in strengthening abstract thinking. In this section, I will share some stories with you as a way of practicing my abstract thinking skills.
